About
History
Hey I’m Titus, and I founded Eagleyed in 2022 to help Scouts discover ideas for their Eagle Scout Projects through a database of completed projects and their beneficiaries. We reach out directly to Eagle Scouts to document and share their service efforts.
After completing my own Eagle Project in 2021, where I constructed two wooden violin racks for my elementary school, I realized how challenging planning and finding inspiration could be, often relying on word of mouth from other Scouts and friends. I saw an opportunity to make project ideas and Scouting resources more accessible online, leading me to launch Eagleyed the following year. I hope Eagleyed continues to grow as a resource and helps future Scouts find inspiration and guidance as they plan their own Eagle Projects.

Website Development Process
The Inspect Element tool identifies WordPress class names, which are then used to manually hardcode custom design elements in HTML through the HFCM plugin (e.g., post spacing and About/Contact/Process pills). The site uses WordPress’s Blogus template as its base.

Outreach is conducted through personal connections and with the Eagle Scout’s consent. Information is extracted from the Scout’s Final Report, edited for clarity, and incorporated into the post, saving the Scout time while ensuring accuracy. Additional photos are included to provide visual context.
